Web Layout in Photoshop
1. Create a new document 500px by 400px. Now change
your foreground color to #373737 and your background
color to #1a1a1a.

2. Now select the gradient tool a and select radial gradient
and drag your mouse from the top left corner to the bottom
right corner.


3. Select the rectangle tool and set the fixed size to 500px
by 60px and place it up in the top of your document.


4. Now give the rectangle a Gradient Overlay with the
following settings:

5. Now create a new layer and select the line tool and
set the weight to 3px and the color to #ff8400. put the
line below the rectangle header.

6. Create a new layer and add some text to the header
(Header and Navigation) choose any font and size
you wish, i have used Tahoma size 18 for the heading
and Tahoma size 12 for the navigation.

7. Create a new layer and select the custom shape tool
and select the following shape and place it under the
word "Home" on your navigation.


8. Now that we are done with the header and navigation
we will add some content box's, create 2 box's first one
180px by 300px and the second one 300px by 300px
and place them as shown below:

9. Give the 2 content box's a stroke of 1px and color
white(#ffffff) Now you are practically finished just add
your own content.

Here is what it looks like with my content:
